One of the finest types of mango, native to Florida. The fruit is oval in shape. It usually weighs from 300 g to 400 g. The distinctive feature is the color of the skin, which is plum/crimson red. The skin often contains pale yellow lenticular dots that are similar to those of a tomai mango but smaller in size. The flesh is light yellow in color with very little fiber and the flavor is rather sweet with a slight aroma. It matures in late July to September, making it a late-season variety.
